Media pressure against the Government and against the Word of God
With the massacre of October 7 by Hamas, there was a worldwide outcry in favor of Israel, which lasted a little more than a month or so. After Israel’s legitimate ground invasion of Gaza, the mainstream media (sponsored and influenced by the discourse that Palestinians suffer and that we Jews are the culprits and invaders of the land) has been deceiving many and encouraging more and more anti-Semitism.
With a very short memory, without historical foundation, the majorities clearly position themselves on the side of terrorists, who destroy their own population, in order to completely eliminate the State of Israel and the Jews from the face of the Earth.
Anti-Semitism, growing since then, has been taking over TV channels, universities and public squares in several countries in Europe and the world.
Accusations are made in the courts of men against the people of God, but let us remember that every war against Israel is a war against God Himself.
We are taking great strides towards the end, but we believe that it is not yet time.
We see and hear many things in this season here in Israel: people and ministries prophesying that the war in the Middle East between Iran/Hezbollah X Israel would start World War 3, others stating that it will be the war of Gog and Magog, others even waiting for Iran to attack us on Tisha B’Av (last week from sunset on the 12th to sunset on August 13th – date of destruction of the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem).
One of the difficult things to accept is political and media pressure for a ceasefire agreement in Gaza. While this involves the return of Israeli hostages (those 35 or so who are still alive, or the 100 or so Israeli corpses from Hamas tunnels and caves), it also requires the complete withdrawal of the IDF from Gaza, Judea and Samaria, and East Jerusalem, as well as the release of high-ranking Hamas terrorists, who are in Israeli prisons.
TV and the media portray Israel as an evil and stubborn people, led by wicked and deceitful rulers. Unfortunately, there are also the political opposition forces in Israel, which are trying to re-establish a terror-controlled Gaza, ruled by a jihadist base composed of Hamas and the PLO, and even the creation of 2 free states with peaceful coexistence between them.
I would like to remind you that all of that is against the Word of God. Through previous mistakes of past Israeli rulers who traded land for peace when pressured by the same media and political denominations, we know that there should be no two-state solution.
This is the land that belongs to the Lord, so that the people of Israel may dwell in it in peace. There are more than 20 Arab-majority countries in the world.
Here in Israel we have 25% of the population of Arab origin, around 22% of which are Islamic, and the rest are divided into Kurds and Christian Arabs of various denominations, from Orthodox Catholics to Evangelicals. (This statistic does not include Arabs living in areas under the rule of the Palestinian Authority, such as Jericho, Bethlehem, the West Bank and Gaza).
We believe that even if there is a ceasefire agreement at this time, it will still not be the end of this conflict, because it is clear that Hamas’s interest is to eliminate Israel and our people from the face of the earth.
Jerusalem trampled by the Gentiles
We do not believe that it is the beginning of World War III, nor does it the War of Gog and Magog. We do believe that we are living in times of Psalm 83.
Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God!
For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head.
They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones.
They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”
For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You:
The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagrites;
Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
Assyria also has joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot. Selah
Deal with them as with Midian, As with Sisera, As with Jabin at the Brook Kishon,
Who perished at En Dor, Who became as refuse on the earth.
Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb, Yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
Who said, “Let us take for ourselves The pastures of God for a possession.”
O my God, make them like the whirling dust, Like the chaff before the wind!
As the fire burns the woods, And as the flame sets the mountains on fire,
So pursue them with Your tempest, And frighten them with Your storm.
Fill their faces with shame, That they may seek Your name, O Lord.
Let them be confounded and dismayed forever; Yes, let them be put to shame and perish,
That they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, Are the Most High over all the earth.
Therefore, beloved, we as the Body of Messiah have to seek the truth, for the truth will set us free, we have to understand the times of the Lord, which are still only the groans of birth pangs, and realize what is yet to come.
We understand that the time of the Gentiles over Jerusalem has not yet been completed. Luke 21:24
‘And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.’
Aliyah – the backbone of end-time prophecy
The return of the Jewish people from captivity among the Gentiles back to their promised land—is the foundation, the backbone, if you will, on which all other end-time prophecies depend.
Without aliyah there would be no need for Israel to possess the land Ezek 36:6-15
Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains, the hills, the rivers, and the valleys, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and My fury, because you have borne the shame of the nations.” Therefore thus says the Lord God: “I have raised My hand in an oath that surely the nations that are around you shall bear their own shame. But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall shoot forth your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel, for they are about to come. For indeed I am for you, and I will turn to you, and you shall be tilled and sown. I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, all of it; and the cities shall be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bear young; I will make you inhabited as in former times, and do better for you than at your beginnings. Then you shall know that I am the Lord. Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, My people Israel; they shall take possession of you, and you shall be their inheritance; no more shall you bereave them of children.”
‘Thus says the Lord God: “Because they say to you, ‘You devour men and bereave your nation of children,’ therefore you shall devour men no more, nor bereave your nation anymore,” says the Lord God. “Nor will I let you hear the taunts of the nations anymore, nor bear the reproach of the peoples anymore, nor shall you cause your nation to stumble anymore,” says the Lord God.’ ”
From the perspective of the Body of Messiah, aliyah is God’s answer to the Body’s more than 2,000-year-old prayer for God’s name to be sanctified (Isaiah 43:5-8; Ezekiel 36:23-28) through the coming of His Kingdom and His will being done on earth as it is already done in heaven (Matthew 6:9-10).
Isaiah 43:5-8
Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east,
And gather you from the west; I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’
And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’
Bring My sons from afar, And My daughters from the ends of the earth—
Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory;
I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”
Bring out the blind people who have eyes, And the deaf who have ears.
Ezekiel 36:23-28
‘And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord ,” says the Lord God , “when I am hallowed in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God. ‘
Matthew 6:9-10
‘In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.’
Until…
‘For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. ‘
Romans 11:25
There are still many populated places in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, that have not heard of Yeshua, the gospel has not yet been preached, and have not received the Word, such as China and India (With 1.428 billion people, India is considered the most populous country in the world. Indians reached the top spot on the list in 2023, when they overtook China — which has approximately 1.425 billion inhabitants.) which are countries with a huge population density. The world’s population today is approximately 8.212 billion people. Nearly 1/3 of the world’s population still does not have access to Yeshua and the Holy Bible.
Therefore, we should pray with the following strategies:
Pray that divine revelation and strategies will be given to Israel’s leadership and its delegation to discern and thwart the enemy’s strategies.
Pray for the physical rescue of the approximately 33 living Israeli hostages (including infants) kidnapped by Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the PA/PLO. Right now, some of these hostages are being tortured, raped and starved (this is based on testimonies from recently released hostages). Sadly, more than 100 of all Israeli hostages are dead; Hamas is holding their bodies as bargaining chips in cold storage.
Pray that Hamas’s ruthless terrorist dictatorship in Gaza will be decisively broken and that all the chains that bind the Palestinians living there will be broken, and that Iran’s role in jihadist deception, and anti-Semitism will be exposed and countered by world leaders.
Pray for the raising up of Ezekiel’s prophetic Jewish army throughout the land.
As the battle against Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, major global NGOs like the UN, and most Western leaders continues, the more we see Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu becoming a bold son of Zion. This does not surprise us, as we know that he is leading Israel at this time only because it is God’s will (Daniel 4:17) and because God is hearing our prayers for him.
Daniel 4:17
‘‘This decision is by the decree of the watchers, And the sentence by the word of the holy ones, In order that the living may know That the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, Gives it to whomever He will, And sets over it the lowest of men.’’
God is gathering His scattered people (Aliyah). This is part of His answer to the prayers of believers to save the remnant of Israel. Most believers who oppose this are humanist “sons of Greece” who see “social justice” as more important than God fulfilling His prophetic promises. For the rest of us, these are exciting, inspiring, and fearful days leading up to our Lord’s return.
Shalom, Shalom, from Galilee, Israel.
In the sublime name of Yeshua haMashiach
