  • LOCATION

The Mevasseret House of Prayer and Bible School will be a House of Prayer in Migdal in the Galilee region of Israel

STRUCTURE

A house with approximately 150 square meters built, with a LIVING ROOM with capacity for 30 to 50 people approximately, in addition to 6 bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen to receive visitors and volunteers from Brazil and all nations. With capacity to host a minimum of 12 people and a maximum 24 people simultaneously.

The project aims at the self-sustainability of the House through the

Bible Teaching ProgramNesharim (Eagles).

LOCAL MANAGEMENT

Yehoshua and Shoshana Laniado Azadinio, Jews born in Brazil who made Aliyah (Return of the Jewish People to the Promised Land) 9 years ago in Israel, Israeli Jewish citizens Believing in Yeshua, have been developing since 2016 a ministry of prophetic worship, intercession, hospitality, inner healing, deliverance and biblical teachings with the Body of the Messiah, who live in Israel and also in the Nations.

After serving as a ministry for 3 years at the Succat Hallel House of Prayer in Jerusalem, today they are Ministry Leaders of the First House of Prayer and Worship/Bible School founded by Brazilian/Israeli Jews in Galilee (Mevasseret Ministries). Parents of 5 children (two born in Brazil, 3 born in Israel, all Israeli citizens).

  • HOUSE OF PRAYER AND BIBLE SCHOOL

The Facility, under Brazilian leadership, will serve the local body of believing Jews, believing Arabs, as well as the diverse people of all nations through the Prayer and Worship watches and the in-person and online Bible Teachings. Opening hours for the general public = from 9 am to 9 pm from Sunday to Thursday, and from 9 am to 3 pm Friday. Shabbat closed to the public.

On Tuesdays – worship with Local Staff, Volunteers and Students

On Thursdays – teaching about the Parashah of the week

On Fridays – Worship open to the general public

  • PROGRAM (NESHARIM – EAGLES) – BIBLE TEACHING FOR BELIEVERS FROM BRAZIL AND ALL NATIONS

For the Bible School Project, God is raising up believers from the nations to set aside time from their lives to stand at the altar of worship and intercession here in the Holy Land.

 Mevasseret offers a  dynamic short-term “Teaching Program” designed to give the opportunity to experience, learn, and serve the Lord in Israel for 3 months. This program will be called Nesharim – (Eagles in Hebrew).

‘Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up and makes his nest on high? On the rock he dwells and makes his home, on the rocky crag and stronghold. From there he spies out the prey; his eyes behold it from far away.’ Job 39:27-29

The eagle represents keen vision, agility and dexterity, as well as victory over the enemy. We believe that God wants to raise eagles among his people, people with prophetic understanding, biblical knowledge and spiritual discernment to conquer in the last days. These people will be victorious eagles only if they are aligned with Israel.

The participants of Nesharim – Eagles will stay at the house and participate in a program on three fronts:

  • To visit the land of Israel through the Messianic Jewish Zionist Biblical view.
  • Be equipped through Bible courses.
  • Serve in the House of Prayer through prayer and worship shifts and hands-on hospitality services.

The weekly teachings offer a wealth of spiritual understanding on biblical topics such as (but not limited to):

  • The history of the Jewish people in the land of Israel.
  • Israel and the Church – Restoring Identity and the Covenant
  • Harp, bowl and Crown – Worship, Intercession and Kingship
  • Isaiah 19Restoration among the Arab and Jewish peoples.

Some of the teachings include “mobile prayer watches” for places like the Galilee region and the Golan Heights, Jerusalem, the Negev desert, among others.

The participants of the Nesharim – Eagles project will act in several important ways. This includes leading prayer and worship shifts, assisting local worship teams, and assisting with the overall day-to-day maintenance of the ministry.

This program allows the individual the ability to cry out for God’s desires and purposes in Israel while experiencing the day-to-day life of the nation He calls “The Apple of His Eye.”

Volunteers need to fill out a personal form telling of their walk with Yeshua and present a letter from their local church signed by the Pastor in charge, vouching for their suitability and holiness. Early submission of applications is advised.

  • Dates

The Nesharim – Eagles program has 4 intakes each year:

March 16 to June 14

June 16 to September 14

September 16 to December 14

December 16 to March 14

  • Cost for the Nesharim Program Participant – Eagles

Participation in the program costs $2500 USD*(approximate values). This includes accommodation, and teachings. All program costs are to be paid upon arrival. We recommend raising an additional $600-$1500* (approximate amounts) for daily expenses for 3 months (Bible tours in the Holy Land, food, cell phone minutes, bus tickets, etc.) Participants will pay for airfare expenses and local personal travel.

The program provides shared housing for accepted applicants. Participants will live together in community, sharing bedrooms, bunk beds, bathrooms and kitchen.

  • Volunteers (ammount of 20 dollars per night)

All volunteers will only be accepted upon nomination by a church or ministry, previously reviewed by the house leadership.

We will not receive NON-BELIEVING as guests, the well-being and holiness inside the house are fundamental for the proper functioning, preserving the lives of the participants of the Nesharim – Eagles Program as well as the entire community involved and committed to the House of Prayer and Mevasseret Bible School.

  • Visa

Three-month tourist visas are granted free of charge to citizens of Brazil, the US, EU, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada without prior application, when they enter Israel and present passports valid for at least 9 months prior to their arrival date. For other countries it is necessary to check the regulations for entry into Israel.

  • Health Insurance

Each applicant must provide their own health insurance coverage. Neither Mevasseret nor the Nesharim Teaching program will be able to cover hospitalization and/or doctor visits.

It is recommended to ask the travel agent about the travel insurance they will fully cover during your stay in Israel.

If the participant requires prescription medications (or even non-prescription medications), we recommend that they bring with them a sufficient supply to cover their stay.

  • Rules of Conduct

Mevasseret recognizes our calling to live worthy of the Lord.

We understand that the imposition of external “rules of conduct” is not an ideal for motivating people to holiness.

Our motivations for holiness are love for Yeshua and people, not the pressure of imposed rules.

However, in the spirit of Galatians 3:21-23, we recognize the need for established standards until the character of the Messiah is formed in us, as articulated in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7).

We urge all program participants to live against the immorality prevalent in our society by not participating in or condoning sexual activity outside of marriage and abstaining from illegal drugs, tobacco, and gambling.

  • Collection and Administration

All the collection of offerings and donations in the House of Prayer will be destined exclusively to maintenance, janitorial, payment of employees, pastors and teachers.

As part of the House of Prayer and Bible School project, it is necessary to purchase a car – type “Van/Minibus” with up to 09 seats.

To transport groups that will serve as volunteers, guests and participants of the Nesharim – Eagles Program, from the airport to the House, as well as to take people to know biblical regions of the Holy Land and places of Prayer and Intercession.

The vehicle will also be used for the maintenance needs of the House of Prayer, ensuring the well-being and safety of all.

  • RESPONSIBILITIES

All responsibility for maintenance, janitorial hiring, accounting and tax administration, will be of Pastors Yehoshua and Shoshana, due to them being the local Leaders and Israeli citizens, and the only ones responsible and empowered to comply with Israeli Tax and Accounting Laws.

At first, the House will be opened LEGALLY as a “Guest House” in the format of a small business. This will generate some tax charges.

In order to obtain exemption from part of the taxes, in a second moment it will be necessary to create an “NGO”, where the presence of other Israeli leaders will be mandatory, becoming part of the Project. Only Israeli citizens can sign contracts and deal with liability under local laws. A minimum of 6 people are required to form an NGO, it depends on each case.

During the first 2 years we will be selecting couples who can be part of the local NGO.

  • Social and Educational Programs.

Supporting the Poor

Food support (weekly distribution of food baskets and cafeteria in winter) Hygiene care (bathing, haircut, shaving, etc…) Clothes and blankets for the winter,  encouraging the search for God’s presence through our testimony.

“Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh?

 Isaiah 58:6-7

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’

Children Education

The House of Prayer has as its vision the education of the new generation, children and young people. The meetings consist of Bible Teaching, Worship and Prayer, as well as fellowship, building a character aproved by God.

We also believe that God uses children and teenagers to minister to adults. They are not just a gift from God, but they can really be our arrows in the midst of spiritual battles

“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord , the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.”

Psalms 127:3-5

“Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.”

Psalms 8:2

CONCLUSION

We are certain that this project was born first in the heart of the Lord, because until now he has been FAITHFUL.

Comfort, comfort my people, says your God. Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and cry to her that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins. A voice cries: “In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord; Isaiah 40:1-3
