Israel and the Church-Restoring the Identity and the Covenant- “Hastening the Coming of the King”

Israel and the Church Restoring the Identity and the Covenant “Hastening the Coming of the King” By Shoshana Laniado Azadinio Published on May 25 2020 Watch the video, or read the transcript below. Shalom guys, we are here for our last chapter of this series, studying the Book of Ruth. It was a pleasure to be here, thank you for following us. We’re gonna make a review. Remember the first video? We talked about how important it is to preach the good news to the Jewish people, how in the Gospel, Yeshua talks about going first to the Jew, because he cares about the lost sheep of Israel. And we mentioned how small is the amount of Messianic Jews in Israel. So we talked about how important it is to review some things, to realign to the Bible, to our biblical roots, to understand the identity of Israel and the Church and the Covenant between them, in order to fulfill God’s plan, amen?! So we talked about the Exile, how our sins, our iniquities have removed us from the land, but how God is so merciful and he brought us back and He still wants to bring his people back, because there are a lot of Jewish people in the nations. So it’s so important for the Church to understand about Aliyah, the return of the Jewish people to the land, to understand, to pray about it, to help the Jewish people. So when the Jewish people are back in the land the gospel will go and spread throughout the earth so Yeshua can return. And we also talked about the importance of the Church to follow Ruth’s example and not Orpha’s. How Ruth submits to the Messiah of Israel, how she learns with his servants and the relationship she has with  Israel and how she blesses Israel. Today I want to read with you: Ruth 4:13-17 “So Boaz took Ruth and she became his wife. When he made love to her, the Lord enabled her to conceive and she gave birth to a son. The women said to Naomi: Praise be to the Lord who this day has not left you without a kinsman redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel! He will renew your life and sustain you in your old age. For your daughter-in-law who loves you and who’s better to you that seven sons has given him birth. Then Naomi took the child laid him in her lap and cared for him. The women living there said, “Naomi has a son!” And they named him Obed. He was the father of Jesse the father of David .” So we see here this covenant brings forth the grandfather of David, the king of Israel. The same way now, if we align, if we have a covenant that pleases our God, Israel and the Church. We will bring forth the coming of the king – Yeshua haMashiach the King of glory! Aba, thank you for this series, for teaching us through your Word, for renewing us in your Word, renewing our mind. ABBA, and aligning us in this beautiful path through your Word , bshem Yeshua. And we want through this learning Lord, to hasten the coming of the King of Glory, bshem Yeshua, Abba, amen?! Thank you for following us, for watching. Please subscribe on our website. We renewed our website, it’s so beautiful. You can check it out and subscribe, write there your email so you can receive our updates. Shalom shalom from Israel!

Israel and the Church-Restoring the Identity and the Covenant-Covenant that Brings Life

Israel and the Church Restoring the Identity and the Covenant “Covenant that Brings Life” By Shoshana Laniado Azadinio Published on May 12 2020 Watch the video, or read the transcript below. Shalom everyone, we are back studying the Book of Ruth today on chapter 3 talking about the Covenant that brings  life. So we are going to keep with our parallel, Naomi representing Israel, Ruth representing the truth Church and Boaz representing Messiah Yeshua, amen?! So we saw on the last study that Naomi was in the fields of Boaz and she was eating and she was learning, having fellowship with his servants. But now has come the time to  make a decision, a commitment and a covenant with him. Let’s see where this is going to happen. Ruth 3:1,2 “Then Naomi, her mother-in-law said to her, My daughter, should I not seek rest for you, that it may be well with you? Is not Boaז our relative, with whose young women  you were? See, he is winnowing barley tonight at the threshing floor. “ So this is the place where they will have this special meeting – the threshing floor. The place where they separate the barley and the straw. They throw upwards  the grains and the barley remains, the straw goes with the wind. So it’s very significant, right? Continuing: Ruth 3:3-5  “Wash therefore and anoint yourself and put on your cloak and go down to the threshing floor but do not make yourself known to the man until he has finished eating and drinking. But when he lies down, observe the place where he lies. Then go and uncover his feet and lie down, and he will tell you what to do.” And she replied, “All that you say I will do.”  So again Naomi is giving instructions to Ruth and Ruth submits to them, amen?! And what happens now? Ruth is honored again.   Ruth 3:10,11 ” And he said, “May you be blessed by the Lord my daughter. You have made this last kindness greater than the first in that you have not gone after young men, whether poor or rich. And now my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you all that you ask, for all my fellow townsmen know that you are a worthy woman. “ Wow… do you want to be honored by God? So you should follow the footsteps of Ruth, amen?! Now, this covenant between Ruth and Boaz benefits so much Naomi, because he rescued the land that belonged to her husband, he buys it again and return it to her. So we could think: the greater the intimacy the greater the surrender of the Church to the Messiah, the greater the restoration of Israel, amen?! So to finish, we’re gonna read : Romans 11:13-15 ” Now I am speaking to the Gentiles. Inasmuch then as I am an apostle to the Gentiles. I magnify my ministry in order somehow to make my fellow Jews jealous, and thus save some of them. For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead “ So, you should go and wash and anoint yourself and get dressed with your best clothes and go meet your Bridegroom, so this intimacy, this relationship will provoke jealousy to a Jew, amen?! So Lord, we thank you. Thank you for teaching us. Help us go deeper in intimacy with you and to be full of the Spirit and to provoke jealousy to the Jews that don’t know the Messiah, yet, amen?! beShem Yeshua. So next video will be the last one of the series. We’re going to make a review and we’ll talk about hastening the coming of the king, amen?! Bye, Shalom Shalom!

Israel and the Church-Restoring the Identity and the Covenant- The True Messiah and the True Church

Israel and the Church Restoring the Identity and the Covenant “The True Messiah and the True Church” By Shoshana Laniado Azadinio Published on Apr 26 2020 Watch the video, or read the transcript below. Shalom, we’re back with our study on the Book of Ruth. Today we’ll be talking about the true Messiah and the true Church. We’re making this parallel – Naomi representing Israel, Ruth representing the Church, the true Church and Boaz representing the Messiah Yeshua, amen?! Let’s read Ruth chapter 2 verse 1: Ruth 2:1 “Naomy had a relative on her husband’s side a prominent and wealthy member of Elimelekh’s clan, whose name was Boaz.” So the same way Boaz comes from Naomi’s family, Yeshua comes from the Jewish lineage, amen?! In Romans chapter 9 verse 4 and 5 is written: Romans 9:4,5  “who are Israelites, whose is the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises, whose are the fathers, and of whom is Mashiach as concerning the flesh, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.”  So we see how rich is this inheritance that the Church receives from Israel. But we have to be careful, the Church has to be careful not to go and follow traditions, you know, and have this idolatry about Israel. But go on this road towards biblical roots and always pointing to the Messiah. The same way  Ruth went to this field, we can read here on Ruth chapter 2 verse 8 the first part: Ruth 2:8a  “Boaz said to Ruth, “Did you hear that, my daughter?  Don’t go to glean in another field, don’t leave this place, “ So it’s important that the Church follows not only Naomi, but go and find the real Messiah, the true Messiah, amen?! Let’s go now to Ruth chapter 2 verse 8 the second part: Ruth 2:8b  “but stick here with my working girls” So Boaz tells Ruth to walk with them, to eat with them, to talk to them, to have relationship with them. So the Church should have relationship with Israel, not only absorb knowledge, take this inheritance, but also relate and love Israel, amen?!   Ruth 2:18  “She picked it up and went back to the city. Her mother-in-law saw what she had gleaned, and Ruth brought out and gave her what she had left over after eating her fill “ Then, Ruth 3 verse 17: Ruth 3:17  “Then she added, “He gave me these six measures of barley because he said to me, “You shouldn’t return to your mother-in-law with nothing” So the Messiah is concerned that she’s going to give real food, you know, physical food to Israel and in Romans we read about it in chapter 15:27: Romans 15:27  “They were pleased to do it, but the fact is that they owe it to them. For if the Gentiles have shared with the Jews in spiritual matters, then the Gentiles clearly have a duty to help the Jews in material matters “ Amen? So let’s think: is it worthy for us Ruth doing everything she did, all the sacrifice? Because Orfa, she refused to do everything like Ruth. But we need to read Ruth 2 – from verse 10 to 12, it’s so beautiful. Ruth 2:10-12  “She fell on her face prostrating herself, and said to him, “Why are you showing me such favor? Why are you paying attention to me? After all, I’m only a foreigner.” Boaz answered her “I’ve heard the whole story, everything you’ve done for your mother-in-law since your husband died, including how you left your father and mother and the land you were born in, to come to a people about whom you knew nothing beforehand. May Adonai reward you for what you’ve done, may you be rewarded in full by Adonai the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.” So it’s worthy it, coming and finding refuge under his wings, under the wings of the God of Israel, Amen?! Aba, thank you Lord for teaching us through this story, Lord. Thank you for your faithfulness to Ruth and your faithfulness to Naomi, Lord. Thank you for your faithfulness to Israel and to the Church, Lord, help us walk together in love, Lord, in real covenant before you, Aba, beShem Yeshua. On the next video we’ll be talking about the Covenant that brings life, amen?! See you, bye, Shalom Shalom!

Israel and the Church – Restoring the Identity and the Covenant – Book of Ruth – Aliyah

Israel and the Church Restoring the Identity and the Covenant “Aliyah” By Shoshana Laniado Azadinio Published on Apr 26 2020 Watch the video, or read the transcript below. Shalom from Israel. We are going to continue studying  the Book of Ruth. Today we’re gonna read chapter 1 from verse 7 to 17. Let’s go? Ruth 1:7-17 “so she set out from the place where she was with her two daughters-in-law and they went on the way to return to the land of Judah. But Naomi said to her two daughters-in-law, “Go, return each of you to her mother’s house. May the Lord deal kindly with you, as you have dealt with the dead and with me.The Lord grant that you may find rest, each of you in the house of her husband!” Then she kissed them and they lifted up their voices and wept. And they said to her “No, we will return with you to your people.” But Naomi said, “Turn back my daughters, why will you go with me? Have I yet sons in my womb that they may become your husbands? Turn back my daughters, go your way, for I am too old to have a husband. If I should say I have hope even if I should have a husband this night and should bear sons, would you therefore wait till they were grown? Would you therefore refrain from marrying? No my daughters for it is exceedingly bitter to me for your sake that the hand of the Lord has gone out against me.” Then they lifted up their voices and wept again. And Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her. And she said, “See your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to hook her gods, return after your sister-in-law.” But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God. Where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the Lord do so to me and more also if anything but death parts me from you.” Wow, this is amazing, the vow that Ruth makes with Naomi. And now we see here two types of Churches – Orpha is the one that is completely disconnected from Israel. She prefers to stay her way, with her traditions in her way of  worshiping God. But Ruth, she decided to walk with Israel, to learn from Israel and Ruth knows, this Church  knows that Israel is still the priestly nation, the priestly people and in order to walk in his calling Israel needs to rescue the land, to retake possession of the land. Why is this so important? We’re gonna read in Genesis 13 from verse 14 and 15 Genesis 13:14,15 “The Lord said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him, “Lift up your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward, for all the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever “ So, this is an everlasting covenant with our forefathers. All the covenants that Elohim made with our forefathers, they were connected to the land, but today you see, we have Israel, we have the State of Israel since 1948 and it’s completely open to receive all the Jews from the nations. But the number of Jews we have here is the same of the number we have in in United States. We have here around 6 million and a half jews and the same amount in America, why? We are in a comfort zone, but look at what the Lord says in Ezekiel 39:28 Ezekiel 39:28  “then they shall know that I am the Lord their God who sent them into captivity among the nations but also brought them back to their land and left none of them captive any longer “ So, you see he calls the Exile a place of captivity for us. He wants us back in the land of Israel. So, if you want to be like Ruth, learn how to pray the Word and pray for the Jews to return to the land. In our website you can find more than 160 passages about Aliyah. You can see the link in the description of the video and you can pray the Word, pray that the Jews will return. And another thing that this Church understands is that if we have a covenant, an everlasting covenant with this land, we cannot give the land, we cannot divide the land, you know? Even if there are promises of peace from our enemies, amen? So let’s pray! Lord, thank you ABA, thank you for teaching us through your Word Lord. On how to be Israel, how to be the Church.  The church that you enjoy to be with, the Israel that you enjoy to be with, that you praise. Help us as Jews to awake in the nations and return to the Land. Help us as Church Lord, to support the Jews to pray for them  in a wise way, Lord  bShem Yeshua haMashiach, amen! On the next video will be starting reading chapter number 2 of Ruth and when Boaz comes in the scene, okay? So we’ll be talking about the true Messiah and the true Church, amen? See you, shalom shalom!

Israel and the Church – Restoring the Identity and the Covenant – Book of Ruth “Reasons for Exile”

Israel and the Church Restoring the Identity and the Covenant “Reasons for the Exile” By Shoshana Laniado Azadinio Published on Apr 26 2020 Watch the video, or read the transcript below. Shalom, I’m here again to talk to you about Israel and the church and today starting reading the book of Ruth. Let’s go?! From verse 1 to 6: Ruth 1:1-6 “In the days when the judges ruled there was a famine in the land and a man of Bethlehem in Judah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he and his wife and his two sons. The name of the man was Elimelech and the name of his wife Naomi, and the names of his two sons were Mahlon and Chilion. They were Ephrathites from Bethlehem in Judah. They went into the country of Moab and remained there. But Elimelech, the husband of Naomi died and she was left with her two sons. These took Moabite wives, the name of the one was Orpah and the name of the other Ruth. They lived there about ten years and both Mahlon and Chilion died, so that the woman was left without her two sons and her husband. Then she arose with her daughters-in-law to return from the country of Moab,  for she had heard in the fields of Moab that the Lord had visited his people and given them food “ So we see here in this story that the family left Israel because of the famine in Israel so they went to Moab and they stayed ten years there until the Lord visited Israel again and gave them bread. So I want to talk to you about the exiles, because Israel has gone into many exiles even before Israel, if we look to the Garden of Eden we see that when Adam and Eve, they sinned, the Lord said “go out”. They were exiled from Garden of Eden so even an angel was put there and they could not enter again. And then we see that when the sons of Jacob, they sinned they went to Egypt because there was  famine in Israel and they had to go to Egypt, so they stayed 430 years there. And then we know the story when they left Egypt until they possesed the land of Israel again. And then after that we see Babylonian, Persian, Greek and Roman exiles, so Israel has suffered a lot in the land of the Exile – assimilation, idolatry,  but let’s understand more, why does it happen? Why our people has to go into exile. So in Leviticus 18:25 we read: Leviticus 18:25 “and the land became unclean, so that I punished its iniquity, and the land vomited out its inhabitants”  So this is a principle, it’s a law and we cannot run away from it. I believe it’s almost like a father and a son, you know, the Lord tells us as a father: “you need to go, go there and think about it, think about what you did and then you come back and we talk”. So thank God that we can come back to him and we can come back to the Land of Israel. Let’s see Psalm 107 :4-7. It’s so beautiful:  Psalm 107:4-7 “some wandered in desert wastes finding no way to a city to dwell in, hungry and thirsty their soul fainted within them. Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble and he delivered them from their distress he led them by a straight way till they reached a city to dwell in” So, Lord we thank you, ABA. We thank you for what happened to Naomi and Ruth, Lord, we thank you because they were able to return to the land and to return to you Lord. And we thank you Lord because we can repent, we can cry out to you Lord anytime, and we can come back and go and run to you ABA. Thank You, bShem Yeshua! So next time we’ll be continuing on the Book of Ruth and we will be talking about the Aliyah, the return to the land in our days and what the Church can do to help Israel in that, amen? So see you next time, Shalom Shalom.

Israel and the Church – Restoring the Identity and the Covenant “Introduction”

Israel and the Church Restoring the Identity and the Covenant “Introduction” By Shoshana Laniado Azadinio Published on Apr 26 2020 Watch the video, or read the transcript below. Shalom everyone. Today I want to talk to you about Israel and the Church. Once I was watching a video when there was someone interviewing Jews in Israel and asking them who’s Jesus? And most of them would answer Jesus is the founder of the Christian religion. They would not at all relate Jesus to the Hebrew Bible and this is very sad. Here in Israel we have less than 1% of believers, of Jews that believe in Yeshua, so I want to read with you some verses, first in Romans 1:16   Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the good news since it is God’s powerful means of bringing salvation to everyone who keeps on trusting to the Jew especially but equally to the Gentile” Now Matthew 10:5 and 6 Matthew 10:5,6 these twelve Yeshua  sent out with the following instructions: “don’t go into the territory of the Gentiles and don’t enter any town in Samaria but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel”  So, this burns in his heart, the lost sheep of Israel and  it’s still burning! So how can we correct everything that was done in a not good way from by the Church. In Acts we read on chapter 3 verse 20 and 21 Acts 3:20,21 ” so that times of refreshing may come from the Lord’s presence and he may send the Messiah appointed in advance for you, that is, Yeshua. He has to remain in heaven until the time comes for restoring everything as God said long ago when he spoke through the holy prophets” So Yeshua is being kept in Heavens, He will return only when things are restored and this is one very important thing to be restored – Israel and Church, the identity and the Covenant. So, we’re gonna start a study about the Book of Ruth that addresses very well in a beautiful way the Covenant between Israel and the Church. So, keep following us. This is a very short book – The Book of Ruth, you can read it again and then let’s meet again, okay? Bye, see you!
